For instance, the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is renowned for its romantic tragedy between two star-entered enthusiasts. With the deaths, who's truly the reason for Romeo and Juliet's deaths? Friar Laurence is most the reason for many apparent, yet overlooked reasons.

The forbidden wedding of Romeo and Juliet couldn't have happened with no Friar. To begin with, the Friar unwisely decided to marry Romeo and Juliet, despite the fact that they know it'll cause later problems. At first, the Friar thinks that "...this alliance may so happy prove/ To show your households' rancor to pure love." (II iv 91-92) This implies that the Friar includes a slight hope of the marriage possibly working. Therefore, he decides to marry the 2 enthusiasts. However, as time progresses, the Friar allows with that he's regrets concerning the marriage. The Friar feels that "too quick arrives as tardy as not fast enough.Inch (II mire 15) Quite simply, the Friar implies that he senses this whole wedding is going on too quickly and begins to possess second ideas. When the Friar had thought this important decision clearly through, he might have avoided many future tragedies. Therefore, the Friar knows all along that, "These violent delights have violent finishes." (II mire 9) The Friar understood that it is really an impossible situation, which if thanks to themself will certainly finish in tragedy in some way. Under these conditions, because the Friar forecasts, Romeo sinks right into a deep depression consequently to the fact that he cannot see his wife. Similarly, Juliet becomes depressed and it is grieving within the truth of her and Romeo's separation. With no Friar the 2 enthusiasts will not have been married, which may have avoided both downturns and future problems in the future.

The Friar accounts for many problems too, as aiding Juliet together with her "dying" plan. When Romeo and Juliet realize they're not able to be together, and Juliet is anticipated to marry Paris, she needs a getaway plan. Juliet pays a vacation to the Friar, who produces an agenda for Juliet to fake her dying having a sleeping concoction.
